The Types of Dentures Our Dental Center Offers
At Hunter’s Creek Dental Center, we have the solutions to ensure you find dentures that are the perfect fit for you and your life. With a wide variety of dentures, we are delighted to offer our patients the following denture services options to choose from:
- Immediate Dentures
When a patient has extractions and requires dentures, immediate dentures are created. An impression and bite for your dentures are taken a few days before the extraction. This makes it so the dentures are already created and can be promptly placed in a patient’s mouth after their teeth are removed. Once a patient’s gums have completely healed, new dentures will be made. The healing process may take anywhere from 2-4 months, and a patient’s gums will shrink after any extractions.
- Premium Dentures
Premium dentures consist of Lucitone 199 and hard plastic teeth. These dentures are known for looking more like natural teeth than traditional options because they have more molds and shades to choose from. Additionally, premium dentures are made using higher quality materials, so they are guaranteed to last longer and even chew better. These types of dentures are warrantied against any breakage, cracking, and loss of teeth for two years and can last anywhere from five to ten years.
- Same Day Dentures
In the case where a patient needs same-day dentures, they can be seen at 9:00 a.m. and will be able to have new or repaired dentures by 6:00 p.m. the same day. Please note, there is an additional fee for this service. Call our dental office for more information regarding our same day denture solutions.
- Partial Dentures
Patients who need partial dentures can seek our assistance. Partial dentures are utilized when a person is only missing a few teeth. When a person is fitted for their partial denture, it is attached to their remaining natural teeth for support. Hunter’s Creek Dental Center offers three different types of partial dentures, such as:
- Cast Metal Partial – A cast metal partial uses a cast frame and claps to make this option extremely stable. Most dental offices offer cast metal partials, which are warrantied for one year.
- Flexi Partial – Flexi partials consist of flexible Valplast and are entirely metal-free, as well as extremely flexible. They offer a more natural appearance and are warrantied for two years.
- Combi Flexi Partial – Combi Flexi partial dentures are a combination of flexible Valplast and cast metal framing. They are durable and strong-similar to metal partials-but are flexible and appear natural, like Flexi partials. Hunter’s Creek Dental Center offers a two-year warranty for combi Flexi partial dentures.
